Fab Result against local rivals

WPLHC 1sts 4 – 0 Chester Ladies 2nds

Maybe it was the local rivalry which spurred Park on. Within 5 minutes Park Rhona Logie had scored the first of her two goals. A second followed before half time from Kirsty Norwood. Park pressurised the Chester defence and were unlucky not to increase their lead by the break. After half time Chester tried to push the Park forwards backwards but good linking midfield interplay rendered this tactic useless and Park further increased their lead with a fantastic goal from coach Chris Davies who thumped the ball into the Chester goal from a short corner. Park used their substitutions wisely throughout the game allowing players to get some respite from the excessive heat of the day. GK Helen Hogben appreciated the relatively "quiet" game due to the fact that she was cooking in her GK kit!
