Saturday's defeat to South Cheshire

Park were under the cosh from the start of the game. South Cheshire nearly went ahead within the first 5 minutes but the ball rebounded off the goal post back into open play. They took the lead soon after but Park retaliated with a superb solo goal from Leona Wyllie which left the South keeper with no chance. South hit the post yet again before the end of the first half. Park spent much of the game under pressure and where lucky that South only managed to add one further goal to their tally, due to the fact that Helen Hogben found fantastic form in goal and parried many of their efforts. A disappointing result but a good team effort bearing in mind we were missing key players & others were carrying slight injuries.
