Cheshire Tournament.

With 14 players we set off to a very hot and sunny Wrexham to play in the 2012 Cheshire Tournament. We faced stiff rivals , with 5 of the 6 teams being in Cheshire division 1. As the games were only 10 mins 1 way scoring or conceding a goal changed the results table dramatically. It was a great day of hockey, as we all pulled together to include 3 junior girls and 2 new girls to the squad.
The scores were as follows 0:0 versus Oxton, then we lost to Wilmslow 0:1, they came through midfield with a number of slick passes and managed to convert the goal. Lymm 0:0, Wrexham 0:0, then the highlight game, we beat Sale 1:0, thanks to Yaz's goal and lastly Timperley 0:0. We finished 5th out of a league of 7.
