Third team lose in blizzard conditions.

The 3rds lost at home to Mossley Hill Men’s 3rds this weekend, with their promotion push faltering for the second week. The first half was an even affair with Winnington conceding 2 goals before Matty Entwistle pulled one back to make it.

The second half started the same with both teams creating chances but with a couple of injuries and a reshaped team formation Winnington with overrun and conceded 4 goals in the snow blizzard that engulfed the pitch. Tom Ravenscroft took away the man of the match honours
