Both teams were evenly matched and cancelled each other out, with very few chances being created the first-half ending 0-0.

In their final match of the season Park come racing out the blocks with lots of possession and chances but unfortunately non resulted in a goal. Ladies 2s should be proud of what they’ve achieved this season and this scoreline didn’t reflect how well they’ve played.

Park started well-creating chances but it was Knustford that broke that deadlock. Knutsford added a second a few minutes later. Park’s third-string started to play hockey and pulled a goal back through Liam Mckee. Mckee was on the mark again making it 2-2 at halftime.

Park stayed in control in the second half with Mckee grabbing his third with a penalty flick. Jonathan Fowler scored Parks fourth after a fabulous team goal with goal starting in defence and ended up with Fowler dribbling the ball into the goal. Mckee grabbed his fourth and Parks fifth. Knutsford rallied and grabbed their 3rd with 5 minutes to go. Knutsford grabbed their fourth on the final whistle. Defenders Mark Whalley and Sam Cowhig were joint MOTM
