The Game Management System (GMS) is England Hockey’s new system to record all hockey matches in England.
It is designed to hold all club team and player records as well as game data entered by the team captains or managers.
GMS will be the home of player profiles which will hold a digital history of games played, match reports and more.
This system is taking its first steps in introducing a common platform for fixtures and results.
The initial launch of GMS will focus on ensuring the basic requirements are all in place. They will be rolling out more functionality and improvements in the planned development phases, over the coming months.
It's now time to register your details as a player…! (How exciting.)
The next phase of GMS aims to get player details logged – you won’t be able to do much else.
When you initially register your registration will need to be approved by club admin – please be patient.
In summary register as a player at https://gms.englandhockey.co.uk/
Your registration will be approved.
And then… well not much until the next phase is released!
Happy GMS’ing
For those who are under 18:
Any young person under the age of 18 is considered a junior. The responsible adult
will need to register an account first then create linked junior accounts, as a
point in principle to comply with Safeguarding Regulations. Once they turn 18, they
can take direct control of their account.
Can multiple siblings use the same parent's email address?
Yes, parents can add children to their accounts. Once they reach an age when they
can manage their own account, they will need their own email address which will
link to their player profile and player history.
